Basic conditions for article submission

Article Acceptance Conditions:

- The article must be entirely research-oriented and adhere to general principles.

- The article must be original and not previously published or presented.

- Acceptance of the article may be conditional upon implementing suggested corrections from the reviewers.

- Articles will be presented as either oral presentations or posters based on the decision of the scientific committee.

- The scientific value of poster presentations is equivalent to that of oral presentations.

- The maximum allowed submission for each individual as the first author is two articles. For any additional articles submitted as the first author, a fee of 150,000 T must be paid.

- Publication of accepted articles will be in the booklet or CD of the proceedings of the 26th Congress of  Microbiology in Iran, and obtaining a certificate of presentation is contingent upon the first author's registration for the congress and payment of the registration fee according to the details provided on the congress website (congress fees).

- The abstracts of the articles must be submitted in English.

- Submitted articles are recommended to align with the themes of the congress.

Steps of Review and Evaluation of Article Abstracts:

-The abstract of the article must be submitted, and submission of the full text should be avoided.

- In the first stage, only those abstracts that adhere to the specified structure and are submitted to the congress website will be reviewed.

- Any decisions regarding acceptance and the mode of presentation (poster or oral) are the responsibility of the congress scientific committee.

- Selected articles will be chosen based on quality, abstract of the article, conducted research, innovation in ideas, ethical considerations in research, and other factors, in coordination with the review committee according to the evaluation checklist.

- The responsibility for informing other researchers lies with the person submitting the article.

The responsibility for the scientific and literary accuracy of the submitted text rests with the person submitting the article. In case of proven research misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, etc., the matter will be reported to the appropriate authorities if necessary.

- If any of the following conditions are not met, the abstract will be removed from the review process:

  1. Failure to adhere to the submission guidelines for abstracts regarding structure and word count.

  2. Submission of an anonymous article at the time of submission.

  3. Submission of abstracts in Persian.
