Antimicrobial resistance

Nowadays, antimicrobial resistance is considered one of the top 10 health and development challenges worldwide. Therefore, a special panel has been dedicated to this issue at the 26th Congress of Microbiology. The aim of this panel is to familiarize participants with the dimensions of this problem worldwide, the situation in the country, global recommendations for monitoring and controlling this phenomenon, and the country's plans in this regard. Given the alarming situation regarding the use of antimicrobial drugs in the country, this topic will be discussed and reviewed in detail.
