The Iranian Society of Microbiology intends to hold the first National Festival of Outstanding Student Theses in Microbiology on May 21, 2025, at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, in line with the goals and responsibilities of the society, to honor the significance of research among students across the country and to encourage and support them. In this festival, efforts will be made to create competition among students and their scientific-research achievements to enhance the quality of student theses following the needs of the country; in this regard, aspects such as problem-solving, social responsiveness of research, innovation, current relevance of research, and other important factors will be considered. For this purpose, all students across the country with theses related to various fields of microbiology are invited to participate in this scientific event. It is worth mentioning that after receiving the submissions and evaluating them by the festival's secretariat according to the regulations and executive guidelines, those achieve the highest scores will be honored.
